[fimage] Erik James Horovat-Markovic, alias Mystery, born September 24th 1971, is one of the most influential people in the sub-culture of the pickup artists or the “seduction community”.He is one of the pickup artists who were featured in Neil Strauss’s bestseller “The Game”.
He was performing magic tricks at children’s birthday parties, working full-time as a magician.Let me tell ya, “asking women out” is not one of his problems any more! I don’t know how big VH1 is but I am sure that this is going to bring some notoriety to the community. It should make for some entertainting televison though. In addition to all of this programming BET has joined forces with Twitter to analyze the impact and importance of “Black Twitter.” Per BET’s summation, “Black Twitter” is a “digital water cooler, where African Americans exchange ideas and opinions that are centered on the black experience, all dialogue is unapologetically black and is exclusive to things that impact the black community.” Here’s what they found: “Early data continues to support a strong correlation between tweeting and watching live TV at home via traditional delivery methods.
The first season featured eight male contestants that had previously been unsuccessful in love and relationships.
Throughout the show the contestants are tutored in the art of the "pickup" as taught by Mystery and his wings.
The name Mystery was also used by von Markovik as an internet username.
